I feel like I have been gone for ages, but it as only been a week haha. I have been very busy recently and not feeling 100% either. My focus and motivation has completely dropped and I didn’t want to force my content.
Is there a better way to come back than with a goals post?
I will start with a quick update on September’s goals.
I think my blogging goals for September were quite simple, but I still didn’t completely manage them. I went through most of my posts and edited them a little bit. I still want to go through and sort the SEO stuff oout on them though.
I have reorganised my Pinterest and I’m still learning the ins and outs of it.
I have been interacting more with other bloggers, but I could definitely be more interactive. I guess not feeling well has affected that side of life too haha.
As for typing up planned posts….that definitely didn’t happen! I’ve been very bad at anything that has required me to focus recently. I’m hoping my focus comes back by the weekend as that is when my degree with the Open University officially begins.
As for my lifestyle goals….none of them have happened. Feeling unwell for a couple of weeks has really had a knock on effect to my whole life.
Let’s create a fresh start with October.
I’m going to try so hard to achieve my goals this month. I won’t be setting as many as I normally do, due to my degree starting. I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself.
My first blogging goal this month is to adjust my schedule. I have been posting twice a week on here but I will be going down to once a week. I’m hoping this will be temproary, just until I’ve adjusted to my study schedule, then I will go back up t o twice a week.
I also want to get a head start on my Blogmas posts. It seems really early, only being October, but I know time will go by so fast and I really want to complete it.
Get my focus back! I’m still not feeling great at all, but I really need to find my focus. I have so much going on in October with my blog and my degree that I really need it back. If anyone has any motivation going spare, please send it my way haha.
Finish my two current reads. I’m currently reading A Court of Wings and Ruin* and Harry Potter*. I really want to finish them both at some point this month. Reading is my way of relaxing and with how busy I’m going to be, I need to make sure I take some time to relax.
So, that’s it for my goals for October. Not too much pressure and, hopefully, all achieveable.
